Daily Life in Afghanistan

Three visits to Afghanistan between 2017 and 2024 witnessed the sharpest political and social rupture in the country’s recent history. This project focuses on unchanging human stories in a geography where regimes, flags, and rules shift. Spanning from the crowds of Kabul to the silence of the countryside, this selection serves as a visual record documenting the resilience and continuity of daily life in the shadow of major historical transformations.
