As the epicenter of faith and ritual in Istanbul’s urban memory, Eyüpsultan is not merely a relic of the past; it is an active space where the sacred and the secular intertwine. Right alongside century-old gravestones, shrines, and mosque courtyards flows the pulse of ordinary life. This project documents everyday life unfolding in the shadow of the sacred. Rather than re-depicting the district's monumental facade, my aim is to make visible how faith, tradition, and the rush of modern life coexist in this singular neighborhood.
